South Brisbane’s local property icon, Brad Bell Real Estate launched their excite10 property auction on 21 February 2010 to over 200 real estate enthusiasts in the conference centre of Brisbane Technology Park.

With 12 properties up for auction, the independent family operation attracted over 35 registered bidders and sold 9 properties achieving a 75% clearance rate, well above the state average of 36.6% and the highest individual clearance rate in Queensland so far this year.

After staging two successful in-room auctions with a 100% clearance rate in 2009, the company launched excite10 as a specific auction program designed to be a best practise example of the auction system.

Being held in the busiest time on the real estate calendar to capitalise on the influx of population, excite10 offered homeowners greater exposure for their properties producing more competition and delivered better results.

To coincide with the inaugural event, Brad Bell Real Estate announced the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation as the auction’s beneficiary with a percentage of all commission proceeds to be donated to the foundation.

A real estate trade show was held prior to the auction to showcase the events multiple sponsors which was followed by a charity auction which raised much needed funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation (with just under $5000 being raised in total).
